wpid upside down movie image slice 01 Dizzying French Trailer for UPSIDE DOWN Starring Jim Sturgess and Kirsten Dunst

A French trailer has gone online for the sci-fi romantic-thriller Upside Down starring Jim Sturgess and Kirsten Dunst.  We showed you some images from the movie last month, but they were mostly right side-up and didn’t convey the dizzying and impressive visuals.  The trailer gives a better look at the gorgeous set design  and I love the use of the upside down effect.  However, the story seems a little rote.  The characters live in two worlds that are connected but on top of each other and each with its own gravitation pull.  No one from one world can cross over to the other or even communicate with someone on the other side, but Sturgess and Dunst’s characters fall in love and break the rule.  I hope the plot is a little more than just a love story across borders where the only twist is having the border be on an unconventional axis.

Hit the jump to check out the trailer.  No U.S. release date has been announced.

wpid blade animated series image slice 01 New Teaser Trailer for BLADE Animated Series

We’ve already seen a few images and a teaser trailer for the forthcoming animated series adaptation of Blade, but now the January 13th premiere of the new anime is right around the corner, and now there’s a new teaser trailer to get you psyched. While it takes a lot for me to truly get excited for an anime product (it’s just not my style), the action does look like it’s going to be pretty killer, and since it’s following everyone’s favorite vampire hunter (sorely needed in these Twilight Saga clogged days), it could very well be worth checking out.

Check out the new teaser trailer after the jump. Blade premieres January 13th.
